Patrick Gregor Jr.

  • Patrick is a Co-Founder and Partner at Gregor and DeMonaco Construction Services.

    Before joining Gregor and DeMonaco, Patrick spent 20 years in the high-end residential construction industry, excelling in various roles throughout his career. He began as a carpenter framing houses, using his mechanical skills to master the art of home construction. Before long, he advanced to managing multiple multi-million dollar projects. His extensive building experience spans from basic home remodeling projects to large-scale, $40M+ complex new builds. Patrick's most recent role as a Partner at a high-end builder on the East End allowed him to build lasting relationships with clients, subcontractors, and key stakeholders. He is highly respected in the industry as a confident and knowledgeable leader committed to delivering top-quality projects.

    Patrick holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute and an MBA from Downing College. He resides in Westhampton with his wife and two children, with whom he enjoys traveling and engaging in adventurous outdoor activities. 

Michael DeMonaco

  • Michael is a Co-Founder and Partner at Gregor and DeMonaco Construction Services.  

    Prior to Gregor and DeMonaco, Michael spent over 18 years in the heavy civil construction industry in various capacities.  Michael has experience with estimating, project cost controls, field engineering, project supervision, project management, and executive level operations management. Most recently, he served as Chief of Staff at Skanska USA Civil Northeast, where he worked with executive team members to develop business strategies and managed operations and over 500 employees in the Northeast business unit. His experience has enabled him to build relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to deliver high quality projects on time and within budget. Michael's stellar work ethic, attention to detail, and affinity for good process enables him to maintain a clear focus on the big picture while delivering top-notch projects for his clients.

    Michael holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Villanova University. He is an Eagle Scout, a licensed USCG Captain, and the Vice President of his beach community's Board of Directors. Michael resides in East Moriches with his wife and two children, with whom he enjoys sharing the summer season and all the outdoor activities and social fun the East End offers. 

David Mariani 

  • David is a Construction Manager at Gregor and DeMonaco Construction Services.

    With 18 years of experience in the construction industry, David has successfully delivered numerous projects by leveraging his diverse skillset as a project supervisor, project manager, proposal manager, and design manager. In his most recent role at Skanska USA Civil Northeast, he worked on various complex multi-million dollar projects. His innate mechanical inclinations, combined with his education and experience, enable him to find innovative solutions for building the most complex structures. David welcomes challenge and relishes any opportunity to solve intricate puzzles, a passion he has nurtured since helping his father build houses from a young age.

    David holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Boston University and an MBA from NYU. He enjoys spending time with his family and, in his free time, brings his brilliant design ideas to life. 

Richard Brierley 

  • Rich is a Superintendent at Gregor and DeMonaco Construction Services.

    With over three decades of experience in carpentry, Rich has a deep-rooted understanding of all facets of the trade. In 2013, seeking greater responsibility while remaining closely connected to his craft, he transitioned from a master carpentry role to a supervisory position. Throughout his career, Rich has tackled large, intricate projects for clients with exceptionally high standards.

    Rich thrives on challenging assignments and takes pride in collaborating with subcontractors who share his dedication to excellence. He values partnerships with skilled architects to actualize their visions, consistently delivering top-quality results to homeowners. He lives by the motto: "There are two ways to do something, the right way and again."

    Rich earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Management Science from Kean College. Beyond his professional endeavors, he has a robust history of community involvement, having coached youth sports. In his leisure time, Rich engages in Hardstyle Kettlebell training and competes year-round in Master's Level club rugby. He also relishes riding his two Harleys whenever the opportunity arises.

Eliza Brush 

  • As an Assistant Project Manager, Eliza supports various projects and business ventures in Gregor and DeMonaco's portfolio.

    Prior to joining Gregor and DeMonaco, Eliza spent nearly four years at Skanska USA Civil Northeast, gaining experience in field engineering, project supervision, project cost controls, safety engineering, and estimating. In her most recent role, Eliza managed the project controls and cost for work totaling over $45 million under multiple complex contracts with Harvard University. Her excellent organizational and communication skills allow her to consistently prioritize the client's goals and deliver on expectations.

    Eliza holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Lehigh University. She enjoys practicing as a novice photographer, engaging in outdoor activities such as skiing and surfing throughout the year, and having fun with friends and family.

John DeAmario

  • John DeAmario is a Project Foreman at Gregor DeMonaco Construction Services.

    John grew up in East Hampton and began working as a carpenter with his father and grandfather before he was a teenager, continuing a family tradition. For nearly 45 years, apart from his Civil Engineering studies in college and his service in the Navy, John has worked on some of the most high-profile homes in the country. He has extensive experience in high-end traditional and modern-contemporary residential home building, especially throughout the East End of Long Island.

    John is particularly known for his expertise in renovating historic structures throughout eastern Long Island and the southern shore of New England. He brings a wealth of knowledge to Gregor DeMonaco, not only in construction and its processes but also in the local history, style, and people that make the Hamptons and its surrounding communities a special place.

    Outside of work, John enjoys fishing, traveling, and being a devoted father to his daughter. 

Kevin Vander Schaaf 

  • Kevin is a Superintendent at Gregor and DeMonaco Construction Services.

    He holds a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology and Environmental Science from Northern Arizona University and has over 20 years of progressive construction experience as a skilled finish carpenter and site superintendent. Kevin spent 18 of those years in New York City, working on high-profile projects such as Yankee Stadium, the United Nations, Madison Square Garden, Lincoln Center, and Fordham Law School. He later expanded his expertise by managing high-end residential jobs on the East End of Long Island.

    Kevin's business acumen, adaptability, and easy-going temperament foster a positive, collaborative team environment, resulting in high-quality projects delivered on schedule and within budget. His consistent ability to gather and synthesize pertinent information from key stakeholders and prioritize deliverables has earned him respect and recognition in the industry as a sought-after site superintendent.

    Additionally, Kevin has served as a volunteer firefighter, catechist, and softball coach.

Stephen DeFlorio 

  • Stephen is a Project Manager at Gregor and DeMonaco Construction Services.

    With 14 years of experience in the real estate and high-rise construction industries, Stephen brings a diverse background as a broker, project manager, and project superintendent to the team. In his most recent role prior to joining Gregor and DeMonaco, he oversaw day-to-day operations on ground-up projects such as the OMA-designed Eagle + West Towers in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, and SL Green's 15 Beekman Street in Lower Manhattan. Additionally, Stephen is an active real estate investor.

    Stephen holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science and Business from Boston University and a Certificate in Construction Management from Columbia University. He resides in East Hampton and enjoys traveling, discovering new restaurants, reading, and long runs.

Leesie O'Connell

  • Leesie is a Project Manager at Gregor and DeMonaco Construction Services.

    Leesie's extensive education and experience in her former profession coupled with unique knowledge of the industry afforded her the ability to expand her knowledge base when joining the Gregor and DeMonaco Team. She is extremely attentive to detail, highly organized, and process driven. Leesie aims to build strong relationships with fellow professionals and clients alike.

    Leesie holds a Bachelor of Science from Loyola University Maryland and a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Stony Brook University. Growing up in the Hamptons has instilled in her a love for being on her boat and a vast local knowledge set that proves useful to the company. Outside of work, Leesie enjoys boating, golfing, and walks with her dog.

Tyler Mancini

  • Tyler Mancini is a Project Foreman at Gregor & DeMonaco Construction Services.

    With over 9 years of construction management experience, Tyler has progressed from an APM and survey assistant on a 36-story high rise in Dumbo, Brooklyn, to a project manager supervisor at a Marriott hotel build on E34 in Manhattan, to building large-scale townhome complexes in central Long Island. Tyler values learning at every stage of his career, both in at work and through external resources.

    Tyler enjoys challenging hikes, such as those in Yosemite, aiming to complete one a year, and visiting museums.

Jacob Goodwin

  • As a Field Engineer at Gregor and DeMonaco Construction Services, Jacob actively contributes to multiple projects in Gregor and DeMonaco’s portfolio and Estate Management clients. 

    He began his journey in the architecture and construction industry with a drafting position and framing houses with a local builder. Since joining Gregor and DeMonaco, Jacob has grown significantly as a Field Engineer, learning the intricacies of management and foreman-related tasks. He is a dedicated worker, continually striving to excel and deepen his understanding to improve his performance.

    Jacob holds an associate degree in architecture and construction technology from Suffolk County Community College. He loves spending time with his wife and son, often enjoying activities such as hiking, going to the beach, and snowboarding in the winter. He is also deeply involved in his church community - playing piano, singing, and participating in various church activities. In his spare time, Jacob enjoys fixing cars and working with his hands to help those around him.
